With the Senedd set to return from its summer break next week, I want to take this opportunity to reflect on what I’ve been up to over the last month or so.

Summer recess is my favourite part of the year because it means I get to be in my South Wales East region full time – and I’ve been making the most of it!

I’ve been out and about across the region, knocking on doors and speaking to my constituents about the things that matter to them and hearing their concerns and issues.

There are a few themes which kept cropping up when I was chatting to residents on the doorsteps.
