The past two weeks has seen the difference that can be made with a Labour Government.

Two manifesto promises delivered that will bring real change for people across Torfaen.

Firstly, the Government has now introduced the Hillsborough Law to Parliament. I’m incredibly proud to have played my part, driving the policy forward from the Cabinet Office to ensure the Government ends the culture of state cover-ups.

The new legislation will place a legal duty on public authorities to tell the truth, fix mistakes, and take accountability for failures.

It’s a result of decades long campaigning by brave, bereaved families and I pay tribute to their determination and the legacy they will leave. Their work will make sure the tragic injustices and........
