'My team and I have responded to more than 10,000 queries'
One of the most important parts of my job as your MP is helping residents with the issues that matter most to them.
Since being elected last year, my team and I have responded to more than 10,000 queries and helped resolve more than 1,500 individual cases. From housing problems to financial difficulties, my role is to listen to you, support you, and make sure your voice is heard.
We currently receive around 750 emails a week, so it’s essential that we prioritise the most urgent cases first – such as helping people facing financial hardship or unsafe situations.
Here are just a few recent examples of the kind of help we’ve provided:
I know many people are unsure what their MP can help with – particularly in Wales, where areas such as education, health, and housing are devolved to the Welsh Government. To help clarify: if your issue falls under the UK Government – such as benefits, tax, passports, policing, or pensions – then my team and I can assist.
