Newport is set for a real variety of events this weekend.

The Newport Festival of Words continues with a special event at the Newport Rising Hub on Saturday, March 22, featuring Andrew Michael Hurley, a master of English folk horror.

The prize-winning, critically-acclaimed novelist will discuss his latest book, "Barrowbeck," a chilling tale of marsh-folk forced from their homes.
