A new music trail event is set to take over a city centre later this month.

The Newport Music Trail will be held in the centre of Newport on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29.

The event will run for 36 hours, with more than 90 different artists performing in 25 different venues.

The performances will also span across a variety of different genres, so there is something for everyone.

The venues include Fire & Ice, The Riverfront, Newport Market, Newport City Radio's studio, and The Cwtsh, among others.
