Pillgwenlly residents have voiced disappointment after the Pill Community Centre remained closed on Monday the day of the town’s biggest annual event, the Pill Carnival.

Many locals had expected the centre to be open for the festivities, which typically draw large crowds and rely on community spaces for shelter, seating, and support. The closure left some feeling let down, particularly given the centre’s role in previous years.
