The BBC has responded to the future of Ncuti Gatwa's Doctor Who after reports started circulating that the show had been axed.

It comes ahead of the second season's finale later this month.

The 31-year-old actor took over the role of the Time Lord in 2023, but over the past few months, he's been plagued by reports that he wouldn't be returning to the famous TARDIS.
