Film fans are in for a special treat this month in Newport when a free open-air cinema festival arrives in the city centre.

From August 9 to 12 Wonder Cinema will be showing four films at the former Newport Centre site near Kingsway car park.

And, thanks to Newport City Council using UK government funding, the 400 tickets for each performance will be free.
