Award-winning children's author Claire Fayers is set to embark on a bookshop tour starting in Chepstow.

The event, scheduled for Saturday, October 11, marks Bookshop Day, a celebration of bookshops across the UK and Ireland.

Fayers, who is known for her works Welsh Giants, Ghosts and Goblins, will begin her journey at Chepstow Books before travelling on to Crickhowell and Hay-on-Wye.

Bookshop Day, established in 2016, is a significant event in the Booksellers Association's calendar, celebrating the cultural, economic, and community value that bookshops bring.
