Vacancy in Senedd declared following death of Senedd member
A Senedd seat has been declared vacant following the death of a serving member.
The Caerphilly constituency was made vacant on August 12 following the sudden death of Hefin David MS, aged 47.
A medical emergency was reported around 6.55pm on Tuesday, August 12, where the Welsh Ambulance Service confirmed Mr David's death.
A by-election must now be held and will take place within three months of the vacancy.
