A 17-year-old girl who has suffered from PTSD has been given career-making international opportunities after theatre saved her life.

Alexis Spinola, from Penpedairheol, Caerphilly, has been offered a place with the Elite International All-Stars Performance Troupe, a group of 20 performers aged 14-18.

Each of the chosen participants was among more than 2,000 auditionees from across the globe.
