A by-election has been called following the death of a serving politician.

The election for the Caerphilly seat in the Senedd will be held on October 23, following the death of Hefin David MS in August at the age of 47.

Elin Jones MS, Llywydd of the Senedd, has instructed the returning officer to arrange the poll on that date.
