Artist turns church hall into vibrant community arts venue
A church hall has been transformed into a vibrant arts venue.
The project, named the Cardiff Theatre Café, is the work of Ebbw Vale-born artist Nathan Wyburn and his long-time collaborator Wayne Courtney, who have fundraised for St Andrew’s United Reformed Church in Roath, Cardiff, for more than a decade.
It is located in the church and has seen a range of busy events take place.
Mr Wyburn, who rose to fame on Britain's Got Talent, said: "It’s a really quirky venture I’ve set up over the past 12 months and it’s been going well.

"Me and my partner in crime Wayne Courtney have fundraised for St Andrew’s United Reformed Church in Roath for over a decade, but the last 12 months has seen it hit a crunch point where they need more funds."
He explained how the pair, as members of the church, took over the running 12 months ago.
