The Welsh Government has pledged to increase departmental spending in its 2026-27 budget.

Finance secretary Mark Drakeford outlined the plans this week, confirming that the upcoming budget will raise departmental allocations in line with inflation.

The one-year budget will be published in October, ahead of the next Senedd election.
