A former Emmerdale star who was a fan favourite will appear in a popular BBC drama.

Daisy Campbell, who Emmerdale fans fondly remember as Amelia Spencer, left the ITV soap last year after an impressive 13-year stint.

The young actress first arrived in the Dales in 2011 and made her exit in December after deciding it was time for a new beginning following Tom King's downfall.

Fans were gutted when Amelia left Emmerdale, but now they can spot Daisy in a rival channel’s popular drama.

Amelia will appear in Casualty this weekend stepping into the shoes of Georgina Birch.
