Emmerdale will air a dramatic dog attack storyline involving a popular character this week.

Fans of the ITV soap will see vet Paddy Kirk hospitalised after being injured by two pet pooches owned by a new arrival farmer Celia, played by Death in Paradise’s Jaye Griffiths.

The plot will follow Celia’s response to the attack, which Emmerdale insiders say will show her “true colours”.
