Britain’s Got Talent will bring a “new-twist” to their live semi-finals for the first time – and with it comes power for the judges or Ant and Dec.

The iconic golden buzzer from the popular ITV talent show will now appear during the live shows, with one act being sent straight to the final each week.

It comes as it was announced earlier this year that the live semi-finals will now air weekly on a Saturday, instead of nightly during the last week in May.

The golden buzzer has been a main feature of the audition rounds since it was launched back in series eight.
