Alan Carr has spoken about how the sixth series of BBC’s Interior Design Masters led to a “heart-wrenching” moment for him.

The 48-year-old returns to host the makeover show that sees 10 interior designers tasked with transforming a range of spaces for clients across the country.

Over eight weeks, the designers will be competing to win a collaboration contract with John Lewis to produce their own line of homewares.

Their design creations will be judged by guru Michelle Ogundehin and a bunch of celebrity guest judges.
