Music festival takes over nearly 20 venues across San Francisco

The best time of the year to be a music fan in San Francisco is about to begin. Noise Pop Festival, now in its 32nd year, kicks off Wednesday night at nearly 20 venues across the city. 

Although it does pack some serious star power this year, the 11-day festival traditionally celebrates under-the-radar national artists paired with up-and-coming locals. This year they're also partnering with SF Sketchfest for a special musical tribute to late film director David Lynch.
