Cannabis cafes will soon be legal in California.

Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a bill Monday morning that gives licensed cannabis lounges the right to sell food and offer ticketed events, creating Amsterdam-style cannabis cafes where people can smoke marijuana and eat food at the same business.

California law already allows people to smoke weed inside licensed cannabis lounges but bans the businesses from selling food. Newsom signed the bill shortly after a handful of celebrities, including Whoopi Goldberg, Woody........
