Hillyard’s sister Alexandra said in a video posted Wednesday to the website Bring Amy Home that the family is “desperate for information.”
“I believe that you are out there somewhere, and I pray that wherever you are, you are safe,” Hillyard’s sister said.
Alexandra’s last name has not been made public due to privacy concerns.
Hillyard was last seen in surveillance footage near Dimond Park in Oakland around 4:30 p.m. on March 25. In an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle last week, her husband Chris Hillyard said she was recovering from depression and anxiety at the time of her disappearance and was “doing all the right things to heal.” He told the outlet he found her phone, keys, wallet and handbag in the kitchen on the day she disappeared. (The Chronicle and SFGATE are both owned by Hearst but have separate newsrooms.)

“The unknowing is becoming unbearable. If you are with my sister or have seen my sister, please let us know she’s OK,” she said.
The Oakland Police Department told SFGATE last week the case is being treated as a “Missing Person At Risk” and there is no evidence of any crime associated with Hillyard’s disappearance.
