This might not be a popular sentiment
Personally, I love the covering of snow we finally got at the beginning of the New Year and continued to various levels of coverage.
It is winter in Canada and that means cold and snow. To me the change of seasons is what makes Canada special. I know climate change and all that have caused a lot of upheaval, uncertainty, and worry. The times of the year used to be a lot more definitive but these days the lines have blurred between usual seasonal norms. When the weather behaves as it should it just makes it all feel like home.
Watched on TV the 2019 production of The Tempest from Stratford Festival Theatre a week or so ago. It stirred up some old memories.
I do not remember the play being so funny when I took it in English class in high school. But then I don’t think I really understood Shakespeare or cared to, when I was in school. Like many of us, Coles Notes helped get us........
