So far so good

So far this year I have not lost my Rainbow Flag.

I lost a couple last year so now I put it out in the morning and I bring it in every evening. Apparently, those who are offended by any signs of inclusion and diversity were OK with breaking the law by trespassing, vandalism and theft but too cowardly to do it in the daylight.

It may have started out as a Pride/Gay thing but to me it represents equality and acceptance, for which many people have been fighting for years such as gender, faith, ethnic origin, race, ability, heritage, wealth or lack thereof and on and on. The idea some people are “better” or “more deserving” than others is what has caused all the conflict, death and destruction in our world. It is also our biggest shame.

We are about to celebrate us, living in the best country in the world and I........
