With entrepreneurship on the rise, many founders may be able to relate to having to serve as the business visionary, accountant, sales manager, and executive assistant all at once. As Q4 arrives, many may feel overwhelmed and over-tasked, attempting to get closer and closer to reaching their year-end goals. However, this issue didn’t start in October; it started in January, when the founder decided to take on one more thing themselves, then another, and another.
To explore why this pattern is so common and what changes it, I spoke with Filip Pesek, founder of the European executive assistant agency DonnaPro, who has studied delegation failures from the inside. His experience offers a different perspective on what founders can do to free up their time and attention.
