ANNE M. CROSSMAN: A bustling arts scene

7 0
thursday

I believe that I live in what has to be the most writers-per-capita and artists-per-capita county in Canada.

I wanted to see if that was true by adding the populations of the County of Annapolis, Middleton, and Annapolis Royal together – about 23,330.

I may not know how many of each there are here, but I do know we have such a variety of people who are creative and introspective both with their minds and their hands. I know of writers – prose and poetry, painters, printmakers, photographers, sculptors, gardeners, filmmakers, actors, a publisher, potters, hookers, musicians, an arborist, choristers, architects, dancers, costume-makers, a shoemaker, stained glass artists, web designers, bakers, farmers, and some I may have forgotten.
