Introduction

The Atomic Energy Cancer Hospital – Centre for Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy (AECH-CENAR) was established in 1987 and inaugurated by Muhammad Khan Junejo (late), former Prime Minister of Pakistan. It remains the only specialized cancer diagnostic and treatment centre in Balochistan, serving not only the population of the province but also patients from Afghanistan and Iran.
