Roadside operations by the Norfolk and Suffolk Safety Camera Partnership covered main routes including the A11 and A47 as well as smaller routes in numerous towns and villages across the county.

The biggest speeding hotspot was Thetford where 819 motorists - 561 in June and 258 in July - were detected to be travelling over the limit.

Cameras positioned at the busy Broadland interchange on the A47 at Postwick with Witton on the outskirts of Norwich clocked 577.

On the A11 mobile vans caught the most travelling on the A11 at Snetterton where 453 were detected.........
