Benjamin Place, 21, began chatting online to an Instagram account called Pink Straws and continued even when told his messaging was with a young teen.

Norwich Crown Court was told the college student was exposed when a teacher at Access Creative College in Magdalen Street became aware he was sending messages of a sexual nature.

When he was arrested in September 2021 police found a prohibited image of a child on his phone and eight images and one video of extreme illegal porn involving animals.
