Lewis King, 31, has been given a suspended jail sentence for a string of offences against his former partner including punching her on Prince of Wales Road.

Witnesses called police after seeing him hit her and grab both sides of her face during the attack that followed an argument on April 5.

Norwich Magistrates’ Court was told it came while he was already on police bail following incidents three months earlier at the home of the woman.

On one occasion he had visited the flat of his ex and threatened: “I........
