Long-serving Labour councillor Paul Kendrick, who is currently serving a year in the ceremonial role of Lord Mayor of Norwich, was chased, shoved against a window and hit while on the ground.

Members of the public were forced to intervene to protect the 66-year-old during the Magdalen Street incident on September 18.
