The drama occurred at around 9.50pm on Sunday when several lifeboat teams were summoned after a boat was stranded and taking on a lot of water on the River Bure in Great Yarmouth.

The vessel was tilting to one side and the operation was further complicated due to one of the people on board suffering from pre-existing medical conditions.
