Women sexually assaulted by NHS worker 'now fearful of medical staff'

The three victims of Jamie Kadolski have spoken out as the 24-year-old, a former ambulance call handler and first responder, was jailed for 12 years.

In statements read out at Norwich Crown Court, they described how they now had a fear of ambulances and ambulance workers and "refused to see medical workers".

One said she now preferred to "suffer in silence" rather than seeking medical help.

An 11-day trial earlier this year heard Kadolski, a former ambulance call handler and first responder, wore his NHS uniform on his Tinder profile and told the women he was a paramedic.

He placed stickers on his work ID card to hide his actual, more junior role in order to impress women.

Imposing an extended 15 year sentence - made up of 12 years custody and three years on licence - Judge Anthony Bate said Kadolski had used ID cards and uniforms to give a "misleading impression" of his work status.

He said the victims "expected to be safe" with Kadolski who he deemed to be a "dangerous" offender driven by a sexual premeditation to achieve dominance over women.

Judge Bate insisted Kadolski had "no insight into the severity of his offending".
