Elements, in Lower Goat Lane, reported a 30pc increase in business after being sold to 80s Casual Classics earlier this year – leading the new owners to seek a bigger store.

The shop is to move to the old home of another Norwich fixture — Phillip Browne — which closed its doors last December.

Philip Browne had sold big-name clothing brands such as Vivienne Westwood, Moncler and Levi's since 1986.

It had been at the Guildhall Hill premises since 2011.
