Future of farming business in doubt after solar farm on city outskirts given go-ahead
Carl Waller-Barret, a third-generation tenant on Glebe Farm in Horsford, says he will be left with just six fields – half of the land he currently farms - after a giant 87-acre solar farm was given the green light.
He added the scheme will put pressure on his business Chipeez which supplies local restaurants and chip shops with locally grown produce.
