Under the plans the building at 96 Pottergate will be turned into a one-bedroom home.

The scheme, which was put forward in February, outlines changes to make the site a suitable living space, including providing bike and bin storage and a shower room.

The office has been vacant since May 2025 after it was no longer needed by a neighbouring business.

According to the plans the building was used as a home before 2016.

The plans explain: "The proposed dwelling would provide one bedroom and associated living accommodation across a single storey with a total internal floorspace of 50 square metres.

"This meets the minimum requirement for dwellings providing one bedroom with two bedspaces.

"The proposals include the provision of a shower room (not a full bathroom), which ensures that the remaining area, including all habitable rooms, maximises the living space available."
