Besnik Ademaj was returning to his car on Bank Plain following a business meeting, when he was warned by a member of the public that a man had placed an object beneath it.
The event brought a section of the city to a standstill on Thursday (September 11) as roads were cordoned off while police and a bomb squad dealt with the situation.

At the time of the incident, Mr Ademaj's distinctive black Audi, with red stripes on the bonnet, was parked in a loading bay on Bank Plain.
The Albanian businessman, who has lived in Norwich since 2000, said he left it there because he never parks his car where he cannot see it for safety reasons.

Mr Ademaj said the woman who alerted him - a hairdresser working in a nearby shop - had told him she had seen a man who "went under the car" and placed something there before running away.
At first he said he did not believe her warning, but checked underneath his vehicle himself and found a foreign black object in the shape of a small rectangle attached to his car.........
