Emergency services were called to Horstead Mill at around 6.30pm on Tuesday following reports a man had got into difficulties in the River Bure.

Several people, including holidaymakers, are believed to have attempted to resuscitate Mr Tilford-Key before emergency services arrived.

Mr Tilford-Key died in hospital.

It is believed he got into trouble while playing in the fast-flowing middle sluice underneath the mill’s bridge. ........
