Family says staying in hotel is like 'living in a prison'
The group of women, along with three children under the age of three, has been staying at the Hotel NR19 in Dereham for a month after being evicted from their home in Norwich.
The hotel has come under intense scrutiny for its growing perception as a “dumping ground” for ex-offenders.
Additional fears have been raised by councillors that many of these ex-offenders are being housed next to vulnerable women.
The family consists of two sisters and a mother. The oldest sister has two daughters aged three and one, while her younger sibling has a one-year-old and is six months pregnant.
They say their rooms are small, and sleeping arrangements are difficult.
The older sibling was not given a cot, and instead has had to push two single beds together to form a large uneven set-up she shares with her children.

She does what she can to make it work, such as sleeping on the side not protected by a wall, but admitted her two daughters frequently fall off and bang their heads.
Her sister said the cot in her room was broken and within a week, her baby had fallen out, banged her head and needed an ambulance.
