Hosepipe ban confirmed for Norfolk for first time in 14 years
From 1am on Saturday, householders will be barred from using hosepipes to water gardens and plants and to clean things such as vehicles, patios and walls.
The ban, the first since 2012, also includes filling and maintaining paddling pools, hot tubs, swimming pools, ponds and fountains.

Breaching the rules could result in a fine of up to £1,000, which is enforced by the water company.
