Court De Padel is set to take over Kirkham House, in Whiffler Road, after proposals to convert the space were submitted last year by another - Racket Hub.

However, despite Norwich City Council approving the plans in September last year, a spokesman for Racket Hub said at the time that the company would not be proceeding with the site.

Now a new application has been submitted stating Court De Padel will be inheriting the space - and is hoping to open the new sports hub in September.
