Pupils from Sprowston Community Academy were travelling from Spixworth to Sprowston on the Dolphins Autos Norwich coach when the incident happened.

The bus route included driving along the NDR, which has a speed limit of 70mph, and the driver now faces disciplinary action.

One man, who did not want to be named, was outraged when he saw footage of the broken door, calling it “horrific”.

He said: “Kids lives are on the line.

“The coach would have travelled along the NDR.

“Kids are at risk of falling off the bus.

“They should be doing........
