Emmeline McSawley launched the Cake Cupboard last month and now sells baked goods from her home in Thorpe St Andrew.

The 46-year-old set up the business after selling her café, the Cherry Leaf, to continue making celebration cakes for her regular customers.

She said the idea came from a social media trend of cake sheds – a cross between a cake counter and a garden shed – but added that her cupboard stands out from the crowd.
