Landlord councillor in mouldy rental home scandal LEAVES Green group
Party officials said Liam Calvert had "agreed to leave" the Norwich City Council group while the probe is carried out.
The councillor has previously accused City Hall of "failing" its social housing tenants and has long acted as an advocate for those who have been forced to live in homes riddled with damp and mould.
But he has been accused of hypocrisy after a former tenant highlighted the poor condition of one of his rental properties and said he had done little to help.
Morrighan Humpleby rented the property in Hotblack Road from Mr Calvert between 2021 and 2023, and reported issues with black mould and damp to him on "countless" occasions without success.........
