People living next to Friends Dental Practice in Sprowston complained to Broadland Council about the "plight" they had suffered due to noise from the equipment attached to the property.

The business had installed air conditioning (AC) units without permission but sought the retrospective approval of the council to relocate three, as well as add an extra five.

Despite pleas from neighbours to put a stop to the "disruptive noise" from the equipment, councillors voted in favour of the development.
