'Hypocrite' councillor renting out mouldy home launches attack on 'dodgy landlords'!
Liam Calvert signed an open letter to council leaders proposing large fines be introduced for city landlords who do not fix issues in their properties.
The Norwich city councillor - who has faced calls to resign since allegations first emerged about the state of his property in Hotblack Road, one of a number he rents out - was among several signatories to the letter from campaign group Acorn, which represents tenants.
It was sent to Mike Stonard, the Labour leader at City Hall, who said in response that Mr Calvert was a "proven rogue landlord" and that Acorn should publicly condemn his conduct.

'HOUSING HYPOCRITE'
Mr Calvert has previously accused City Hall of "failing" its social housing tenants and has long acted as a champion for those forced to live in homes riddled with damp and mould.
He was first accused of hypocrisy several weeks ago after a neighbour complained that his terraced property was in dire need of roof repairs and has issues with damp which has affected her home.
