Pre-school provider previously slammed as inadequate by Ofsted changes its fortunes

The early years provision at the Hamlet Centre for children with disabilities was criticised by inspectors and given an overall rating of 'inadequate'.

Based on Vauxhall Street, the pre-school provides care for children and adults with disabilities and complex health needs.

Inspectors who visited the site on June 6 highlighted a host of issues in a scathing report, notably that staff did not provide suitable supervision for children when they are eating.

But now inspectors have rated the pre-school as having 'good' provisions across the board.
