When Katy Martin’s waters broke at just 23 weeks in January 2022, she was rushed to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.

With her husband, Chris, the couple were told that their baby was still healthy at that point. And another 10 days passed before full labour began at just over 24 weeks.

Their first-born son, baby Henry, had to be delivered via an emergency caesarean section.

Soon after, he was rushed to the neonatal intensive care unit where he started to experience bleeds on the brain.

Unfortunately these did not stop.
