Allan Henderson, of Lodge Road in Lingwood, near Norwich, was discovered at his home on December 22 last year, having pulled over a laptop and clothes airer.

The 89-year-old was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital (N&N) and despite treatment he died there almost two weeks later, on January 4.

Norfolk Coroner’s Court held an inquest into the death of the retired bookmaker, where evidence from his son, Fraser Henderson, was read out.
