Developers address flooding concerns over hotel expansion plans
Norwich Hospitality Investments Ltd, who want to extend the Holiday Inn Express on Drayton High Road by 32 rooms, called on engineers to draw up a fresh flood risk report after officials for Norfolk County Council raised concerns.
Engineers for Nimbus Engineering Consultants Ltd said in the 22-page report: "Based on the request from Norfolk County Council, we have carried out pluvial flood modelling to show that the post-development flood risk will not increase and there is no flood risk to this proposed extension."
