'Not loving it!' - McDonald's contractors tear down fence to neighbour's garden

Contractors for the fast food chain removed the barrier separating the site on Mousehold Lane from a row of houses on Plaford Road earlier this month.

But locals claim there was no communication from the food giant to warn them of the work.

Ben Marshall, whose home backs onto the site, said: "They have not been in touch with the community. How they have dealt with it feels like they just don't seem to care about the local houses.

"If they had let us know, it would have been better."
